Use S & P as Scope 3 of your supply chain
2019
We already took a significant step towards sustainability in 2019 with our ISO 14001 environmental certification.
2021
In 2021, we focused on drawing up initial greenhouse gas balances in order to identify targeted savings potential.
2022
In 2022, we expanded the S & P Code of Conduct and integrated the UN Global Compact principles at the same time.
2023
Since the beginning of 2023, our own sustainability officer has been driving the agenda forward. He has not only launched a comprehensive sustainability reporting system, but has also set ambitious targets for reducing greenhouse gases. S & P is also working closely with the entire supply chain to develop sustainable strategies in accordance with the UN Global Compact principles, particularly with regard to Scope 3 emissions.
2024
From 2024, you as a customer and business partner will have access to this sustainability report. You can use it not only for your own Scope 3 evaluations, but also as a valuable resource for your own sustainability report.
2026
By 2026, S & P aims to be net climate neutral in the areas of Scope 1 and 2. That is our promise and our contribution to our planet.
We are not only about delivering first-class products of the highest quality, but also about minimizing our environmental footprint. Think of us not only as a provider in your supply chain, but also as a committed partner in your mission for a greener future.
2024
We will be setting milestones in our sustainable development as early as 2024:
- Green Energy
We obtain our electricity exclusively from renewable sources.
- Efficient Usage
Innovative heat recovery systems enable us to significantly reduce our gas consumption.
- Future on wheels
Our vehicle fleet is gradually being converted to electromobility.
This is just the beginning. A number of other initiatives are being planned to continuously reduce our CO2 footprint.
Learn how the CO2 neutrality of our products is evolving toward full climate neutrality*.
