Clock springs
Clock springs are springs spirally wound in a plane, made of strip material or flat material. The coils generally have the form of an Archimedean spiral and in their unstressed state have the same pitch everywhere.
The S & P production programme mainly consists of clock springs made of soft-annealed strip steel, which are tempered, shot-blasted and surface coated after being shaped.
The shape and size of a clock spring depends on its function and the available installation space. The operational reliability and durability of the spring mainly depends on the correct shape.
