Helical tension springs
Helical tension springs are typically made of round-wired cylindrically wound spring bodies, the two wire ends of which are eyelet or hook shapes. The spring body of the helical tension spring is predominantly subjected to torsion. Helical tension springs are standardised.
S & P manufactures helical tension springs exclusively from cold-formed spring wire and stainless steel for static, quasi-static and dynamic forces.
The S & P range of services for helical tension spring production includes all conventional spring manufacturing processes, including cleaning processes and surface coating.
The spring body as well as the eyelet or hook form of a helical tension spring are dependent on their function and the available installation space.
